Who are we?
The University of Aruba is a young and dynamic university established in 1988. In that same year, the Faculty of Law was set up as well. During its existence, the University has continued to develop and has been expanded with three other faculties: the Faculty for Accounting, Finance and Marketing (FEF), the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management Studies (FHTMS) and the Faculty of Arts and Science (FAS).
The Faculty of Law is an ambitious small-scale faculty and offers a scientific bachelor’s and master’s degree program in Aruban law. It offers high quality legal education, and both programs received positive ratings from the Dutch-Flemish Accreditation Organization (NVAO) in the academic year 2014-2015 (see https://search.nvao.net/search-detail/55846# and https://search.nvao.net//search-detail/55847# ). The focal points of the Faculty are the further development of education, intensification of the research and internationalization.
