uk: Cancer Bioinformatician - Breast Cancer Research [until 31st July 2020 | 100% | Duties: You will work among a team of inter-disciplinary bioinformaticicans who are experts in NGS-data analysis, machine learning and software development; and therefore offering unique training opportunities. Your work will focus on the development and validation of hypotheses, and implementation of stand-alone bioinformatics tools enabling discovery of molecular markers of breast cancer. The work will include application of existing tools and method development using in-house (as well as publicly available) next generation sequencing datasets such as Exome, Targeted and Whole genome sequencing and RNA sequencing datasets | Minimum Requirements: Applicants should hold a degree in a computational subject, have programming and scripting experience, and must have basic knowledge of biology. It is essential to hold a post-graduate qualification in bioinformatics/biostatistics/computational biology or have gained significant experience within bioinformatics/biostatistics role/s | Preferred Requirements: Additional experience in phosphoproteomic platform or kinome activity analyses will be an advantage] / Institute of Cancer Research (ICR); London, United Kingdom / deadline November 27
