The University is seeking to appoint a Teaching Fellow to contribute to our Engineering and Computer Science first year teaching programme targeted at Wellington-based students studying Bachelors’ level qualifications in Computer Science and Engineering (specifically software engineering and computer programming). This includes the delivery of lectures and the management of labs, assignments and tutors. The Teaching Fellow will also be an active contributor to the re-design of our first year programme, following several internal and external programme reviews that the School has undertaken in the past three years as part of our quality control processes.

You will be given a one year fixed-term position and be appointed as a Teaching Fellow. You will be able to build on your past experience in teaching first year computer science and engineering (in particular as it relates to either software engineering, software development or computer programming), and enjoy working alongside colleagues to inspire the next generation of computer scientists and engineers.
