We are seeking two full-time postdoctoral fellows to join the newly established Digital Health & Health Disparities Research Lab. The lab is housed in the Population and Community Health Sciences Branch of the Intramural Research Program at the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities, National Institutes of Health. The mission of the lab is to optimize health information technologies for health promotion and disease prevention among minorities and health disparity populations. Current projects include a just-in-time adaptive smoking cessation intervention targeting low socioeconomic young adult smokers.
Fellows will assist with study design and implementation, data analysis, and publication of study findings. In addition, fellows will work on secondary data projects. The postdoctoral fellows will develop their own research questions related to digital health and health disparities.
Candidates must have completed a PhD in social or behavioral science or related field. Candidates must have experience or an interest in developing expertise in health disparities, tobacco control, and minority health interventions. Expertise in qualitative research methods, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and/or computer programming (e.g., Python) is a plus.To Apply:
