Position Description:
The Spinal Circuits and Plasticity Unit at the National Institutes of Health, led by Dr. Levine, has a postdoctoral position available to use cutting-edge techniques to investigate neuronal function and plasticity in the spinal cord. We seek to uncover the molecular, cellular, and circuit bases of spinal cord plasticity by integrating a wide variety of techniques, including single cell sequencing, in vivo cell manipulations, mouse behavior, circuit tracing, cell culture, and spinal cord injury. Our lab is in the Porter Neuroscience Research Center, a world-class center for basic and translational neuroscience with outstanding facilities, resources, and a unique funding environment on the main campus of NIH.
