A fully-funded postdoctoral position is available in the Inositol Signaling Group led by Dr. Stephen Shears at NIEHS. The successful applicant would join a productive, multidisciplinary team that focuses on understanding the contributions made by inositol phosphate kinase and phosphatase activities at the interface of cell signaling and bioenergetic homeostasis. Applications are welcomed from individuals with an interest in signal transduction and proven credentials in one or more of the following techniques: chemical biology, protein chemistry, metabolomics/isotopic labeling, enzymology, cell biology, molecular biology, and structural biology.

The group is part of the Signal Transduction Laboratory at NIEHS, which benefits from state of the art facilities, excellent core labs and outstanding funding; several other scientific institutes in the local area amplify the collegial research environment.
