The T32 Muscle Training Program at Children’s National and George Washington University has a postdoctoral position opening. This T32 Training Award is made available through the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS), at the Research Center for Genetic Medicine. Children’s National Medical Center, Washington DC. The Center is associated with George Washington University Department of Genomics and Precision Medicine. An award will provide the Scholar with integrated didactic and mentored research program in cell biology, physiology, genomics and genetic research, principles and techniques and a research experience that utilizes advances approaches to study muscle function and disorders. Criteria selection follows the NIH model for individual fellowship and training awards including:

Individuals should also reach out to the training faculty mentor of interest (see list below) about a possible mentorship and cc Toni-Hagans. This should accompany your CV or Biographical Sketch and a brief description of past training including any experience in conducting muscle research.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling bass and scored using the above criteria by members of the Program Advisory Committee and selected Mentors. The NIH must approve Scholar selection.
