We are seeking a full-time postdoctoral fellow to join the Health Disparities & Geospatial Transdisciplinary Research Lab. The lab is housed in the Population and Community Health Sciences Program of the Intramural Research Program at the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities, National Institutes of Health. The mission of the lab is to understand factors influencing health disparities and develop effective measures/interventions to improve health outcomes and reduce/eliminate health disparities among minorities and underserved populations. Current projects geographic variations in cancer incidence and treatment patterns, health information and seeking behaviors among African living in the US.Qualifications:
Candidate must have completed a PhD in social or behavioral science or related field. Candidate must have experience or an interest in developing expertise in health disparities, cancer control and prevention, chronic diseases, and community-based interventions. Strong expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Statistics/Biostatistics or System Dynamics (SD)/Community-Based System Dynamics (CBSD), and qualitative research/community-based participatory research (CBPR) methods, is a plus.

This is a fulltime 2 to 3-year appointment with year-to-year renewal based on satisfactory performance and availability of funds.
