A Small RNA Perspective on Genomic ConflictPosted by: National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Posted date: 2019-Jul-12
The Haase lab is recruiting a postdoctoral fellow. We investigate the ongoing conflict between mobile genetic elements (transposons) by understanding how piRNAs (PIWI-interacting RNAs) are generated and specifically silence transposons. We encourage interdisciplinary thinking and welcome applications from post-graduates and students with various backgrounds: Our current and previous lab members include engineers, biochemists, biologists and a math major.
