We’re recruiting a postdoctoral scholar to work on Getty Foundation funded project to develop software for classifying digital images of historical printed materials based on both semantic and visual similarity.

The scholar will develop improved segmentation, feature extraction, and statistical image analysis and modeling methods, and develop and implement both trained (CNN) and untrained (Deep Learning) classification systems.Qualifications:
Ideal postdoc candidates will have a background in computer vision and demonstrable skills in image classification. Individuals with PhDs from any domain with relevant expertise in image processing and machine learning are encouraged to apply.To Apply:
