The Division of Intramural Research is seeking applicants for a joint postdoctoral position between the Immunopathogenesis Section of the Laboratory of Clinical Immunology and Microbiology in the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and the Microbiology Service, Clinical Center, National Institutes of Health (NIH). The successful applicant will be part of a team focused on mechanisms of mycobacterial, bacterial (e.g., Burkholderia), and fungal (e.g. Coccidioides immitis) pathogenesis.
The program emphasizes basic research that may be translated into the clinic.
