Our laboratory is looking to recruit a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher interested in studying the evolution of antibiotic resistance in pathogenic bacteria.
The Khare lab utilizes a combination of genetics, genomics, and systems biology tools to understand the mechanisms underlying complex behaviors in bacteria. We are specifically interested in interspecies interactions, and antibiotic resistance. All lab members are fully integrated into the broader microbiology community at the NIH, and regularly interact with other laboratories and core facilities including sequencing, mass spectrometry, bioinformatics, and flow cytometry. The NCI offers excellent opportunities for scientific training and professional development of postdoctoral fellows.Qualifications:
