The Systemic Autoimmunity Branch (SAB) at NIAMS, NIH, is looking for an enthusiastic Postdoctoral or Research fellow with expertise in computational biology to join our research group. The SAB focuses on understanding the role of the innate immune system in the development of autoimmune diseases such as lupus and rheumatoid arthritis using animal models and human specimens.
Our group is particularly interested is assessing gene expression by bulk and single cell RNA-seq and we also perform chromatin accessibility studies by bulk and single cell ATAC-seq and transcription factor binding analyses.Qualifications:
Candidates should have a PhD in computational biology or a related field and/or previous postdoctoral experience with computational biology. Successful candidates should have a strong background in computer programming, statistics and computational biology. A demonstrated record of scientific accomplishment is required, and experience in immunology, molecular/cellular biology or biochemistry is preferred. Previous exposure to bench-based research is a strong plus for this position. Salary will be commensurate with research experience in the NIH system.To Apply:
