A post-doctoral position is available immediately on the main NIH campus, in the Viral Pathogenesis Section, Laboratory of Immunoregulation, NIAID, to characterize the mechanisms of HIV pathogenesis and immunologic protection both in humans and in nonhuman primates immunized with experimental vaccines. A major focus of the laboratory is the design and validation of novel strategies for eliciting protective immune responses against HIV. The laboratory offers outstanding training opportunities in immunology, virology, molecular and cellular biology.Requirements:
A strong background in immunology and cellular biology is most desirable although not indispensable. Interested applicants should have a PhD or MD with less than 5 years of post-doctoral experience. Candidates will be required to complete an on-site or on-line interview process.To Apply:
