Epigenetics and Transcription RegulationPosted by: National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Posted date: 2020-Jan-17
Postdoctoral Fellowships are immediately available in the Jothi Lab at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), National Institutes of Health (NIH) to study transcriptional and epigenetic control of cell fate decisions. NIEHS main campus is in the Research Triangle Park (RTP), North Carolina. The RTP is the largest research park in US located between Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill, and is ~20-minute drive from Duke University, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, and North Carolina State University.
The Jothi Lab use embryonic stem cell (ESC) and its differentiated derivatives as a model system to understand how transcription regulators and chromatin modifications regulate gene expression programs during cellular development and differentiation.
