Successful candidates should have or be very close to obtaining a PhD and have less than two years of Postdoctoral experience. Strong skills in machine learning / computational biology or a strong background in genomics/cancer research, as well as proven expertise in molecular/cellular biology and biochemistry techniques. A demonstrated record of scientific accomplishment evidenced by at least one first-author paper, a strong work ethic, and strong intellectual commitments to academic research and to the individual research project, are essential. The successful candidate should possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to work individually and within a team, and outstanding communication skills with fluency in both spoken and written English. The available position is located at the National Human Genome Research Institute, Bethesda, MD., until filled.
